We provide complete automotive repair for your car. This means that if it is broken, we are going to fix it for you. We are able to perform virtually all repairs in-house, and for the few odd ball one’s which we do not handle, we will either take your vehicle and have the work done, or give you a good solid recommendation as to whom you can trust to complete the repairs for you.

A big part of keeping your vehicle on the road is performing regularly scheduled maintenance. Oil changes, transmission service, coolant, brake fluid, and power steering flushes, as well as differential fluid exchange services, help to avoid costly breakdowns. See our preventive maintenance section for more details.

We offer “while-you-wait” oil change service. We dedicate one technician to this service, and fill in with others as the work load dictates. CASTROL provides our house oil, and we stock many, many different brands as well. If you are loyal to one particular brand, call ahead of time, and we will make sure that we have your brand of oil in stock when you arrive. We use premium WIX oil and air filters. As a part of the standard oil change, we perform a basic 14 point check. We will check your headlights, taillights, and parking lights, inspect your belts, hoses, and wiper blades, look at your air filter, check your tires and tire pressures, and check for any visible fluid leaks. If you have a little more time, we offer a comprehensive 30 point inspection, in which we use a fine tooth comb to look for any potential problems. You can view our 30 Point Inspection Sheet in our preventive maintenance section.

We have nine service bays and three technicians dedicated to brake service. RAYBESTOS is our primary brake vendor. Raybestos manufactures all of their premium brake products to meet or exceed manufacturers standards. While there are several different grades of brake products available, brake repair is one area where we strongly suggest using the best available parts. You have heard the adage “you get what you pay for”, and rarely is it more true than in brake repair. We have the latest innovations available in on-the-car brake lathe’s, and our guy’s are trained in diagnosing anti lock brake system problems. Don’t be misled by 89.95 brake job advertisements. A good quality set of brake pads will run about that much money in and of themselves, and that doesn’t leave much money left over to pay for a good technician. We will repair your brakes with the intention of optimizing both the performance of the brake system, and the durability of the job.

“Check Engine” and “Service Engine Soon” lights can be an annoying and pesky problem. What do they typically mean? When you see your amber colored engine light illuminated, it is your vehicle’s way of telling you that there may be a potential problem which needs corrected. Most vehicles today have an on board diagnostic system that is continually checking the operating system of your engine. It monitors several different sensors, and continuously adjusts inputs such as air and fuel intake to keep your vehicle not only running at its maximum potential, but also limiting the amount of emissions it releases to the atmosphere. Generally, an amber engine light is not something that needs immediate attention, but something that can be scheduled at your convenience to have corrected. An exception to this is if you have a continuously flashing light. In this case, you need to have the car looked at right away, as ignoring this will cause extensive damage to your emissions system.

We have two highly trained technicians, Bob Foote and Rusty Flake, in our diagnostic department. We are capable of determining not only the area of concern, but also the root cause of the problem. Our basic engine analysis runs $104.26. This fee covers the first hour of diagnostic time. We can generally figure out about 80% of all cars within this allotted time. Approximately 1 out of every 10 cars will require advanced diagnostics. When this occurs, we will give you a call and explain to you what we have discovered so far, where this is leading us, and the likely additional cost it will take to get there.

With the modern advances of today’s vehicles, they are becoming more difficult to work on. We continually stay abreast of these changes with advanced training and schooling. We can, and will, figure out the difficult problems that other garages may pass on, however, these are rarely accomplished within a $100.00 diagnostic span.

Sure, we do everyday muffler repairs, but we really stand out when it comes to custom exhaust. Led by our primary craftsman, Joe Doerflein, our exhaust department excels in bending “Show Car Quality” custom exhaust systems. Joe has built award winning systems on Super Chevy winners, Frog Follies winners, and even a cover car for Hot Rod Magazine.

So whether it is repairing the loud exhaust on the family’s grocery getter, or earning those extra 5 points at a car show, we can handle it.

Having trouble finding that elusive squeak, rattle, or knocking noise under your car or truck? Are you noticing tire wear that wasn’t there before? We can help. Our alignment team specialists have years of experience correcting suspension problems. Led by the knowledge of Andy Stevens, the accuracy of a John Bean laser alignment system, and the reliability of MOOG chassis parts and MONROE struts and shock absorbers, we will return your vehicle to that “factory new” feeling of ride, stability, and control. Remember, it is best to have your alignment checked on a yearly basis, and watch out for those Indiana chuckholes.

Yes, we do tires! Bridgestone, Firestone, Goodyear, Pirelli, Michelin, Dayton, you name it, we can get it. Rotation and balancing, alignments, tire repairs, we are your one stop shop for auto repair.

In a lot of cases, it makes more sense to re power your present car than to buy a new one. We offer Jasper engines, transmissions, rear ends, and transfer cases that come with a nationwide 3 year 75000 mile warranty. Jasper remanufactured engines and transmissions have all of the recent factory updates installed during the remanufacturing process, and in many cases are better than the originally equipped engine.

Prefer a factory crated engine? We can also install genuine factory engines at Beck Service Center prices. Our heavy line division, led by Keith Coleman and Danny Davidson will use the utmost care and caution to insure your vehicle is properly put back together – no extra parts or pieces. Want a less costly option? We can also use a local machine shop. These engines generally come with a 12 month, 12000 mile warranty.

Remember, when your car needs a new engine, it’s not dead, it’s just sick. Let the auto doctors at Beck Service Center perform a full checkup, and offer the proper cure.

There are few things more aggravating than having your clothes stick to your body when you are driving to work. Want a cooler ride? We can help. Our air conditioning department, led by Rusty Flake and Chad Bauer, can find and fix the reason your car’s A/C system is not blowing cold. The air conditioning systems on today’s vehicles have a captive refrigerant system. What this means, is that unless your vehicle springs a leak somewhere in the system, you will never need to recharge it. If your vehicle needs a recharge, there is a leak somewhere, often times, more than one. We will find that leak, and offer you an estimate to repair it. The charge for doing this is $75.00, and this will be applied to the repairs if they are made. Sometimes, the leaks are small enough that it may make more sense to recharge the system ever so often. Other times, the leaks are large enough that you would be wasting your money trying to recharge the system. We are here to help and offer solutions. We service R134a and R12 systems. We do not recommend that you convert an R12 system to an R134a system, and it is never a good idea to inject R134a into an R12 system without properly retrofitting the system first. An air conditioning system works best when operated in the manner in which it was engineered.
